A newborn photography session completely led by your newest addition; we pause for feeds, cuddles, and rocking. (I can’t promise I won’t involuntarily rock along with you!) You take in their tiny features while I quietly snap away, privileged to be invited into your newborn bubble.

This newborn session will be relaxed and heartwarming and can take place within the comfort of your home or on-location.


Having completed my Newborn Safety Guidelines and Assessment course, you and your precious bundle will be in safe hands.


We don't rush and we don't force. If baby is unsettled, we resettle. I watch you marvel at their tiny hands, wrinkly feet, cute button nose, and beautiful lashes, all the features I capture because we don't want to forget. The sweet interactions, tender moments, the love, and the chaos: I am here for it all.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. When is the best time to book?

Ideally within the first 2 weeks of your baby being born, they are still sleepy and scrunchy.


Get in touch with me about your Newborn Photoshoot when you are around 20 weeks pregnant, I schedule you in 2 weeks after your due date. I allow wiggle room for those babies that are too comfy and may be late!

2. Are siblings welcome?

YES YES YES! They can bring a different kind of energy to your session. They mostly love the newest arrival too and I adore capturing a different kind of connection between siblings.

3. Do I need to clean and tidy my house?

I know, it is the last thing on your mind. I get it.


I work with natural light so I just need a few areas with lovely big windows, a quick tidy (hide in draws and cupboards) will be absolutely fine.  I can always move a few things before taking photos if I feel it is a distraction.

4. how long will the session be?

Newborn session can't be rushed. I usually allow 2-3 hours, this leaves space for cuddles, feeds, changes and re-settling.
