Welcome Guide

Josie Brown

I’m really looking forward to meeting you and capturing you with your loved ones to celebrate this milestone with Hudson.

More than anything, I want this to feel like a memory preserved, so whenever you look back at your photos, you can remember exactly how it felt in that moment.

We are documenting your family in the fields behind the Strawberry Thief in Tadpole Garden Village.

Location & Session Info:

Date: Thursday 9 July 2026

Time: 16:00pm

Address: Parsons Place, Swindon, SN25 2UF

Parking: There is a small amount of street parking in Blanchard Road or Parsons Place.

Meeting Point: I will meet you by the gates into the fields. (Pictured at the bottom). If you Sat-Nav to Parsons Place and park up, walk towards the fields with the hedge on your right. I can pop you a pin via Whatsapp if you get stuck.

What to expect:

We’ll gently meander into the fields chatting as we go and pausing along the way for photos. Depending on the weather we may seek some shady spots, full on sun isn't ideal for photos. We can also meander through the fields towards the river if we wanted.

I’ll guide you with soft prompts throughout, allowing moments to unfold naturally and capturing beautiful, relaxed images of you and your family. I will bring some blankets with me and a small number of props that we may use. We will go with the flow, the more relaxed you are about the session, the more relaxed the children will be.

What to bring:

A small rucksack with some water, somewhere to put your phones and snacks for bribery and energy. I will ask you to remove phones from pockets before the session, they can be distracting visually if slotted into pockets and I also want this session to be a 'unplugged' memory where you are all 'in the moment'.

A hairbrush for quick hair refreshes if needed.

Small amount of make up for top ups where required.

Baby wipes for small clean ups.

Snack for bribery and treats.

Spare outfit & baby changing.

Any props you may want to use.

Quick Tips:

Remove distracting hair bobbles from wrists.

Avoid wearing smart watches (sports or connected to phone type)

Add subtle jewellery, nothing too distracting,

Finally...

The main thing to do on the day is to enjoy the session, it will last up to 90 minutes and be a great time to connect as a family. This will be a memory and I feel so privileged to be chosen to document it for you.

Please Note: This field is used by dog walkers and locals, it is frustrating but not every dog owner will pick up after their dog! Be mindful of this when we are exploring.
